This graphic novel is a personal project made aside from my daily work as an illustrator.
I tried to depict in it a difficult theme but a one which is close to my heart : the way children are affected by a negative ambient at home, and social difficulties they can endure in consequences. I'm always shocked when I meet parents who send unconsciously their violence, pessimism or sadness to their children. This novel is not really a mental answer to it, just a heart reaction.
I learned a lot of things while writing and drawing this one. About myself and about my technics. It was done using only free and open sources software on Linux and I will publish soon the ' making-of ' material. By the way, I'm already working on the next one.

If for most people the garage has a minor role, for those passionate about cars it can simply become the most important room in the house. At least that's how it thinks the car collector who lives in this mansion in Tokyo, Japan.
Designed by the architects of the local studio Number 555, this residence joins another Californian address (shown here), famous for making the car the starting point of architectural design. Just as similar to Los Angeles, the house in Tokyo following a primary requirement owner: maximum ease of access to their vehicles. In the Japanese case, however, the eccentricity has further refinements.
Although the nine big cars dweller fit quietly underground architects designed, there is among them a Lamborghini Countach that's true passion and owner darling. This car has a special garage wave, hidden under the wooden floor of the living room. Just press a button for the floor to open and the preciousness is raised by a kind of lift to the middle of the living!
Besides the passion for cars, the house reserves some other design surprises. The bedrooms, for example, are designed as drop volumes, with independent air circulation. The rooms are organized around a tree in the center of the house, and still harbor Century emblematic pieces of design best 20 as the LC2 chair and the sofa LC3, both created by Le Corbusier in 1928, besides the infallible chairs Eames. After all, for the owner of the house, garage or living room, the design is the same.
Se para a maioria das pessoas a garagem tem um papel pouco relevante, para os apaixonados por carros ela pode se tornar simplesmente o lugar mais importante da casa. Pelo menos é assim que pensa o colecionador de automóveis que mora nesta mansão em Tóquio, no Japão.

Assim como a similar de Los Angeles, a casa em Tóquio segue uma exigência primordial do proprietário: facilitar ao máximo o acesso aos seus veículos. No caso japonês, porém, a excentricidade possui ainda mais requintes.

Embora os nove carrões do morador caibam tranquilamente no subsolo que os arquitetos projetaram, há entre eles uma Lamborghini Countach que é verdadeira paixão e xodó do proprietário. Este carro ocupa uma vaga especial da garagem, escondida sob o piso de madeira da sala de estar. Basta acionar um botão para que o piso se abra e a preciosidade seja erguida por uma espécie de elevador para o meio do living!
Além da paixão por automóveis, a casa reserva algumas outras surpresas de design. Os dormitórios, por exemplo, foram concebidos como volumes suspensos, com circulação de ar independente. Os cômodos organizam-se ao redor de uma árvore, no centro da casa, e ainda abrigam peças emblemáticas do melhor do design do século 20, como a poltrona LC2 e o sofá LC3, ambos criados por Le Corbusier em 1928, além das infalíveis cadeiras Eames. Afinal, para o proprietário desta casa, na garagem ou na sala, design é uma coisa só.
